From April 11th to 13th, approximately 300 participants from Ukraine and abroad took part in the international scientific conference "Treatment of Pelvic Tumors." During the conference, oncologists discussed modern methods of combined and comprehensive treatment for pelvic tumors.

Among the participants were scientists from the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.

The conference featured a live surgery section, during which eight operations were performed by surgeons from the university, oncology center, and the National Cancer Institute. The surgical procedures were broadcasted online in real-time.

A lively discussion took place among the participants in the conference hall of the oncology center, where the live broadcast was held, regarding surgical techniques and individual patient characteristics. As part of the conference, the All-Ukrainian Organization of Gynecologic Oncologists, the Oncology Department of IFNMU, and doctors from the Carpathian Oncology Center, together with the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) and the American Eurasian Cancer Alliance (AECA), held an international online tumor board discussion for the first time in Ukraine.

It is worth noting that such events are necessary for discussing patient treatment outcomes, exchanging experiences, and gaining new knowledge. We would like to thank our American colleagues and look forward to fruitful cooperation in the future!
