On January 31, the administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University conducted a working meeting with the Consul General of Hungary in Uzhhorod, Jozef Backai. During the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects for further collaboration between Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University and medical universities in Hungary in the field of rehabilitation.

 "In Hungary, rehabilitation is organized at a high level. Hungary provides significant humanitarian aid to Ukraine, offering treatment and rehabilitation for children affected by war and Ukrainian military personnel. Ukraine and Hungary continue to actively cooperate, so we are ready to share our experience with Ukrainian rehabilitation specialists," notes Consul General of Hungary in Uzhhorod, Jozef Backai.

Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University has long been collaborating with the University of Debrecen (Hungary) under the Erasmus+ program.

"We aim to initiate new projects for the development of rehabilitation medicine, training our teachers and students beyond Ukraine. We want to invite leading Hungarian experts to our university who could share their experience and knowledge regarding modern methods of diagnosis and rehabilitation for various diseases," says Acting Rector of IFNMU, Professor Ruslan Kozovyi.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the establishment of joint Hungarian-Ukrainian working groups to study rehabilitation technologies in modern conditions, the possibility of involving foreign students, including those from Hungary, in the university's education.

"For us, working meetings with international partners are an essential aspect of the university's activities. We aim to engage European partners and incorporate the best European technologies into the educational process," summarizes the Dean of the Medical Faculty, Professor Roman Yatsyshyn.
