The University of Opole in Poland invites staff members to participate in the international conference. The conference covers the following scientific issues such as defining ‘borders’ and ‘borderlands’ as research categories, their metaphorisation and colloquialisation; civilisational, national, ethnic, regional, confessional, phantom and other borders and borderlands; Europe as a borderland, borders in wartime; borders and socio-cultural borderlands etc. The period of participation is 16-18.09.2024.

To participate in the selection process, the candidates should submit: 

– Completed application form 
– CV  
– Photocopy/scan of the first page of the international passport 
– Good command of foreign language
– Motivation letter
