On March 11th, at the initiative of the medical faculty's dean's office, medical students and instructors met with practicing military doctor Roman Hasko.
On March 13th, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Postgraduate Education hosted the All-Ukrainian Scientific-Practical Conference for internists (pharmacists/chemists) titled "Current Issues in Clinical Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy".
On 13 March, the final of the University Volleyball Tournament for the University Cup took place in the sports hall of the University Sports Complex. The competition, which lasted for 2 weeks, involved 8 teams of students. Each game was interesting and exciting.
On March 18, 2024, at 11:45 a.m., a prayer for peace in Ukraine and for Ukrainian soldiers will take place in the inner courtyard of the central building of the university.
On March 11th, the Department of Linguistics hosted Shevchenko readings, dedicated to the 210th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth.
From March 8th to 10th, a three-day cricket tournament was held at the university among students of the Department of Foreign Citizens Training. Five teams participated in the competition, including teams from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Vinnytsia.
Since 2023, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University has been cooperating with the Ukrainian-Swiss Project "Medical Education Development". The Project is being implemented in Ukraine by the Swiss Institute of Tropical and Public Health with funding from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine as the project beneficiary. The aim of the Project is to improve the quality of health services, particularly at primary level, through better medical and management training.
Last week, students from the Dental Technology Department of the Professional Medical College attended a lecture by Ivan Solovia , the developer of Solo Aligners, on the topic "Easy Start in Digital Orthodontics for Dental Technicians."
On March 8-9, a scientific-practical conference titled "Combat and Non-Combat Injuries of the Knee Joint: Diagnosis, Treatment, and Rehabilitation" took place. Representatives of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University also participated in the conference.
