On April 25, the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Advancement of Best Practices in Ph.D. Training" took place at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. Some of the conference participants, representing higher education institutions from Ukraine, Germany, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland, Spain, and the United States of America, joined online.

Addressing the conference participants, the rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Roman Yatsyshyn, delivered a welcoming speech:

"Unfortunately, for the safety of the participants, we are unable to gather everyone in one hall. However, we remain optimistic and believe in victory. To achieve victory, we need to work towards creating our future. I want to thank the young scientists who are working here today, rather than abroad. I also want to express my gratitude to those who are engaged in scientific work. This elevates the status of scientific research and the individuals involved in it."

Roman Yatsyshyn also expressed gratitude to the international partners who participated in the conference.

The conference participants discussed various topical issues, including the implementation of European and global standards of scientific research, the awarding of academic degrees, the experience of Ph.D. training in Germany, the Czech Republic, and the USA, academic integrity issues, and the role of research centers in the Ph.D. training process.
