On April 23, First Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Serhii Dubrov, officially introduced the rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Roman Yatsyshyn.

 The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Liudmyla Sirko, the Deputy Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Oleksandr Levytskyi, and the acting director of the Department of Health, Volodymyr Dziombak.

"Today, on behalf of the Minister, I have the honor to introduce to you the new rector, Roman Yatsyshyn. I wish the entire staff to achieve new successes, work for the good of Ukraine, and educate new professional doctors. I am convinced that your team will make Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University one of the best universities in Ukraine," said Serhii Dubrov.

Congratulations were also extended by the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, Liudmyla Sirko, the Deputy Mayor, Oleksandr Levytskyi, and the acting director of the Department of Health, Volodymyr Dziombak. They wished the university staff fruitful work and development.

The rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University, Roman Yatsyshyn, noted that he is surrounded by an excellent team:

"I want to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for giving us the opportunity to start a new page in the history of our university. I express sincere gratitude to my teachers who taught me. Our students also greatly motivated and inspired me. I have changed together with you. Today, we must move dynamically towards modern European education," says Roman Yatsyshyn.

In conclusion, Roman Yatsyshyn assured that the university has many projects planned that will be interesting to the community.
