New goals, new plans, and another step towards the improvement of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. On April 22nd, IFNMU Rector Roman Yatsyshyn met with the Executive Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Branch of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, Yurii Stefanchuk. During the meeting, the leaders signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The purpose of the memorandum is to outline various directions of cooperation, one of which is creating an accessible environment within the university.

"We must move forward together with our city. I see no obstacles to working together. We must work to improve conditions for people using wheelchairs," says IFNMU Rector Roman Yatsyshyn. "We aspire for our university to be the leader in Ukraine in terms of accessibility."

According to Yurii Stefanchuk, the Association of Cities of Ukraine supports such initiative, as it is a relevant and important issue today: "Our cooperation will improve accessibility for the community of the city. We want our team to realize these plans."
