On April 21, the Open Day took place at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University. Approximately two hundred participants visited seven locations and came to meet with the administration.

 Prospective students engaged in an intellectual quiz, attended master classes, and explored the anatomical museum. Future doctors learned the application of tourniquets and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques.

 Prospective dental students learned about oral hygiene, tooth filling, computer modeling of dental anatomy, and were introduced to the operation of a 3D printer.

Future applicants aspiring to become pharmacists learned how to make bath bombs and cosmetic scrubs. Those interested in physical rehabilitation and occupational therapy visited specialized departments and acquainted themselves with the equipment used by physical therapists and occupational therapists.

The staff of  of the Department of Linguistics welcomed individuals interested in combining their future with medicine and linguistics.  Students from this department shared information about the education and opportunities available in this interdisciplinary field.

The university's rector, Roman Yatsyshyn, delivered a detailed presentation about IFNMU and the available opportunities for students. Subsequently, he wished future applicants success in passing the national multi-subject test and enrolling in the university.
