On April 17th, representatives of the Rehabilitation Center "4.5.0 Prykarpattia" met with students enrolled in the educational-professional program "Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy."

 The event was attended by academic and teaching staff, including department heads Professor Roksolana Nesterak, Professor Ihor Churpii, head of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and education quality monitoring department Vasyl Kapechuk, Associate Professor Nataliia Holod, and university instructors Olesiia Yaniv and Lesia Fedorivska.

During the meeting, representatives of the rehabilitation center expressed their interest in future cooperation with students and offered them employment opportunities.

For reference:  "4.5.0 Prykarpattia" is a rehabilitation center for the military, which is being created on the basis of the abandoned water station in Kalush, Prykarpattia region. The center will consist of a spacious gym with mobile stimulators and rehabilitation equipment, massage rooms, a psychologist's office, a kitchen-dining room, and a library. On the adjacent territory there will be a sports ground, greenhouses and beehives. The idea of creating belongs to Oleh Perehuda, the company commander of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade, who who passed away in the war in June 2022.

Today, his wife Vasylyna Perehuda, along with relatives, friends and the project team continue to implement this idea. The rehabilitation center should become a place of socialization, physical and mental recovery, a place for meetings, where servicemen can meet their military friends.
