Foreign students of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University constantly support Ukrainian traditions and customs. This year, future doctors, together with the teacher of the Department of Linguistics Olga Babiak, not only sang carols, but also participated in charity project "Legend of Holy Christmas".

The event took place in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko, on January 8th. On January 14th, foreign students sang holiday songs in the central building of the university, in the scientific library and they also took part in a Christmas concert in the Prosvita people's house.

Participation in such events allows international students to learn the Ukrainian spoken language. “We are glad that students are sincerely interested in Ukrainian traditions, - says the teacher. - Such events will remain in their memory forever, and when they return to their countries, they will have a piece of Ukraine in their hearts.”
